Supreme Court Discovers New Clause in the 1st Amendment
Yes, apparently it was beneath a coffee stain from one of the Founders' all-nighters. It reads, "...except in the case of absurd political speech."

Who knew?

That's just about the lamest thing I've ever read.

Which part? The lame banner or the lame need for the government to stifle its message?

Mostly the latter. The banner sounds hilarious. Of course, I wouldn't have felt this way when I was in highschool, and my dean would probably have done the same thing, but I went to a private school. I don't see how the dean of a public school had any right to come down on a student that way.

Ugh. I'm remembering Catholic school now. "No shoes coming up any higher than the ankle; Nail polish and lipstick only in shades of red or pink; no more than one simple ring on each hand. No clothing considered punk, goth, or anything else out of mainstream acceptibility."

Roar.
